DealWeavr ("DealWeavr," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website and Service, including our SMS/text messaging program.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: name, work email, company, job title, password, and other information provided at signup.
  • Deal Room Content: documents, messages, and materials you or other participants upload or exchange within the Service.
  • Contact and Mobile Information: phone number and related details, if you provide them or opt in to SMS communications.
  • Usage Data: log data, device information, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, collected automatically.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: used for authentication, analytics, and improving the Service (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • To send SMS notifications you've opted into (see Section 3);
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Deal Room content to train third-party or public AI models.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from DealWeavr, we collect your mobile phone number and the fact and timing of your consent in order to deliver the messages you requested (e.g., account or deal notifications).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to provide the SMS service itself (for example, our SMS delivery platform, such as Twilio), or as required by law.

All other categories of information described in this Policy (Sections 1–2) are collected and used separately from, and are not combined with, SMS opt-in/consent data for the purposes described above.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for support, or contact us at james@dealweavr.com. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics), bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations;
  • Other Deal Room Participants: content you share within a Deal Room is visible to other participants you invite;
  • Legal and Safety Purposes: where required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety;
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not share mobile opt-in data as described in Section 3 for marketing purposes under any of the above.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Service functionality.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • You may access, update, or request deletion of your account information by contacting james@dealweavr.com;
  • You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP;
  • You may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in those emails;
  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, including the right to know, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email, and the "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revision.
